Winter, Bikers and boredom

So that dreaded time of year is upon is. It’s cold, wet, slippery and generally down right depressing. Very little chance of my going anywhere on my beloved bike unless I spend hours cleaning it afterwards.

Last year

I rode all through the winter and loved every minute of it. We didn’t have any significant snowfall, so I only had to deal with the rain and cold. I have all the proper winter gear so I was warm and mainly dry. Most bikers will be fully aware of one zone that somehow stills succumbs!

The bike

I was fine, however the weather took its toll on my poor bike. It was the salt from the gritted roads that did the damage. Although I used bike protection spray , the salt still got through. Fortunately most of the damage has been repaired under warranty through my local yamaha dealership.

What can I do that is bike related for the next few month’s? No moto gp to watch, no wsb or bsb. That doesn’t leave me much relating to my passion. Any suggestions??
