Autumnal bliss

The weather was kind enough not to rain today. In fact it was sunny and quite warm for the time of year. I managed to go out on my bike for the first time since crashing it a while back. It was a very good feeling. Just what I needed after a bad day/evening yesterday.

I rode to Ipswich to pick up my best friend Bec. She came pillion with me on a ride to the coast. The roads were dry and relatively clear. Perfect for riding. I never have music on when I have a passenger, it was good to hear my exhaust popping and banging away. I felt alive, free. I’m very lucky to live in an area with roads that are perfect to ride bikes on. We went to revved up at Walton.

We had a coffee and a chat before going for a walk to the beach and the pier. Felt kinda strange walking on sand in full bike gear!

Beautiful day

The pier

As you probably know by now, I am a very sensible man. I like to capture the beauty that surrounds me and share it with you all on here. The below picture demonstrates this perfectly.

Safety first

Bec treated me to a well needed lunch on the way home.

Healthy dessert

I really needed today after a bad day yesterday. I feel really good again right now. The dry days will be few and far between now. I will certainly be out on my bike whenever I can. For me it really is the best therapy.
