Just what I needed

Walton

Yesterday myself and my good friend Pete rode out to Revved up cafe on the sea front at Walton.

Weather

The weather was perfect, warm and sunny. For some reason I had decided to wear a base layer (as well as a t-shirt) underneath my leathers. I was slightly overcooked by the time we got there and I had to strip off.

On arrival

Good turn out

There were bikes and bikers of all ages, shapes and sizes. As usual there was a really friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Food

We both had a bacon roll and a couple of coffees before riding to East Bergholt for a beer in the Hare and Hounds.

Bad decision

Ride back

It was a hot and sweaty ride home and we were stuck in a long line of slowish moving traffic (unusual for bikers I know). I decided to go over the level crossing instead of under to try and beat some traffic. Bad decision, the gate came down and we were stuck for 10 minutes in the heat !!

Well deserved beer

Holy grail

Once Pete and myself had parted ways there was only one thing on my mind. Getting my knee down. I have now mastered my right knee, just need to practice with my left.
