Something slightly different today

Classic car show

Today I rode to Lavenham with my friend Arthur to a classic car show. As I have said before I see cars as a way of getting from a to b, motorbikes are my real passion. However, I am really glad I went.

Man down

We were riding there with one man missing. Pete’s bike was off the road with starting issues, the issue was it wouldn’t start! It wasn’t until 10:30 this morning that I knew we were still going. I was still in bed and had a mad rush to get ready.

Going nowhere

Ride out

I met Arthur at his house. I was 15 minutes late (I’m never normally late). I really enjoyed the ride to Lavenham, I know the roads well enough to go at a decent speed, however there where a few cars around who’s drivers appeared to be slightly lost and held us up. Bloody cars!!

There was a good mix of vintage and modern cars, something for everyone. We had a good look around before hoovering up a delicious hot dog. We walked to a nearby pub for a well needed beer.

Good times

I enjoyed the day far more than I would have done a few weeks ago. My head is much clearer for longer periods of time. I am fully aware that I will always have demons in my head, but I am now able to deal with them much better. Im finally in a really good place.
